Who Can Use a Personal Chef Service

  • You are a working professional with long hours and have no time or energy to prepare the fresh, healthy home cooked food your body needs.
  • You and your spouse/partner both work long hours with no time to shop, prepare and clean up a fresh healthy home cooked meal.
  • You are parents of busy children and spend time going from one event or activity to another with out time for yourself, let alone a moment to think about the answer to that dreaded 'What is for dinner?" question. 
  • You do not like to cook and know you need to break yourself and your loved ones from the box food, fast food and that same old restaurant syndrome.
  • Your doctor has just informed you that you need to change your eating habits.
  • You want to lose weight or need to break yourself away from purchasing your weight loss program boxed food.
  • Elderly family members with special dietary needs or disabilities that keep them from getting the fresh and wholesome nutrients they need.
What is the difference between a personal chef and a private chef?

A private chef is employed by one individual or family full time and cooks for no one else but them. A personal chef serves several clients, usually one per day providing multiple meals custom designed to suit each client's particular needs or wants, packaged and stored for the client to enjoy at their convenience.

What kind of food will be prepared?

A sample menu will be provided for you at your personalized assessment meeting, but all meals are determined by your needs, wants and dietary necessities. If you have family recipes that you want to bring back to your table, that can be done as well. With the variety of specialty shops available, the tastes of many different cuisines are also possible. A personal chef service is exactly that, a service personalized to your wants, needs and tastes.

Do I need to be home during meal preparation?

The option of being home or not while the meals are prepared is completely up to you. The process will take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours depending on the amount and types of meals chosen. Access to your home in your absence will be detailed in your contract.

How often do I need this service?

The frequency of the service is dependent upon you. Any and all options are available. Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, what you decide will be outlined in your contract. If you find you need to adjust your service, just contact us and the adjustment can be made to your contract.

What is the payment process?

At your personalized assessment meeting a deposit of $100.00 will be collected for your grocery bill and any left over monies will be applied toward the service fee. An estimated grocery bill will be provided to you along with your menu for approval before the cook date. The service fee is payable on the cook date. 

Can I give The Everyday Gourmet as a gift to a family member or friend?

Gift certificates are available and a free personalized assessment meeting will be provided at their convenience.
