The Everyday Gourmet

The Everyday Gourmet charges a service fee plus the cost of groceries. The service includes customized menus for your dietary needs or wants, grocery shopping, meal preparation, packaging, labeling, heating instructions and complete kitchen clean up.

• Additional grocery items can be picked up at no extra cost when the  cook date ingredients are being purchased if provided one day in advance.
• Senior citizen discounts dependent on dietary needs and disabilities. Discount amount is determined on a case by case basis.
• Meals for dinner parties and events can be arranged with advance notice for an average of $10.00 to $15.00 dollars per person.

Entree/Meal Plan Breakdown

• 5 Meal Plan (Cost $270.00 plus groceries) = 5 Entrees and 5 side dishes for a total of 20 plates, packaged as 5 plates for 4 people, 10 plates for 2 or 20 plates for one.
• 4 Meal Plan (Cost $240.00 plus groceries) = 4 Entrees and 4 sides dishes for a total of 16 plates, packaged as 4 plates for 4 people, 8 plates for 2 or 16 plates for one.
• 3 Meal Plan (Cost $205.00 plus groceries) = 3 Entrees and 3 side dishes for a total of 12 plates, packaged as 3 plates for 4 people, 6 plates for 2 people or 12 plates for one.

     8 serving soups and 4 serving salads can   be added for $10.00

Additional Fees and Terms

Container Fees for Storage and Packaging-

There are two types of containers that can be used during the personal chef service, freezer quality Pyrex/Corning ware or plastic disposable containers. The reusable glassware option is recommended because of the fitted lids and the ability to go from freezer to oven. There is a one time fee for the reusable glassware containers, usually ranging from $70.00 to $150.00 depending on the size of your family. The containers will stay at your home and are yours to keep. They will be used as the storage containers for the duration of your personal chef service. As for disposable storage containers a $15.00 container fee will be charged every cook date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy-

Cancellation: Please allow 2 days notice if the scheduled cook date needs to be cancelled. If groceries have been purchased and the cook date is cancelled, the client will be billed for those items. If groceries have been purchased and The Everyday Gourmet is denied access to the home because of vacation or alternate access, the client will be billed for groceries and a service fee of $300.00.

Cook Date Change: A $20.00 fee will be charged if the agreed upon cook date needs to be changed. If The Everyday Gourmet changes the cook date. an additional entree will be provided to the client at no cost.

Deposit Refunds: Client deposit is refundable if the 2 day cancellation notice is met.
